Always an adventure!

As some of of you might now, I've been struggling with Lyme disease. Actually, I have been clear of Lyme for the last year and a half, but I still haven't felt recovered. Lyme doesn't come alone, but with a bunch of its buddies. They're called co-infections. Well, one of my co-infections has come back. Which means, I whittled it down to the point that I thought I was all better, but not quite. So... yeah.

Anyway, because of all of that, I haven't done a ton of promoting. I'd hoped, miraculously that they would sell on their own without my help. I mean, hey, I'm a faboulous author and I believe in miracles.

Unfortunately, there were no miracles scheduled for me. I got in line a little too late, I guess! Anywho, because of this, my books have not been selling well. I just didn't advertise. My publisher has informed me that if The Elementalist does not start selling then they won't publish book three, The Undoer, which I just finished writing! What a heartache! So I'm working my hiney off to promote, promote, promote!

So the adventures in indi writing continues. It's a lot of work and doesn't leave much time for the good stuff... writing. We'll see what happens by the end of the year. If my sales pick up, Clean Teen will publish book three. If not, I'll self publish that book.
